Curriculum

  • Curriculum:  Daily Religious Instruction, Reading, Language Arts, Mathematics, Science, Social Studies, Physical Education, Art, Computer, Music

  • Accreditation:  St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Elementary School is accredited through the North Central Association of Schools, The National Catholic Accreditation Association, and the Ohio Catholic Schools Accreditation Association.  Our school is also evaluated annually by the State of Ohio through the Cleveland Scholarship and Tutoring Program.

  • All accreditation agencies have found St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Elementary School to be in full compliance with the standards set by these agencies.  St. Mary Byzantine Catholic Elementary School has received the "Gold Star" award for full compliance by the Cleveland Scholarship & Tutoring Program.

  • Faculty: All faculty are licensed by the Ohio Department of Education.

  • Remedial Reading

  • Full-time tutor on staff

    • Social & emotional skills needed for formal education

    • Incorporated religion

  • Free lunch through the Federal Food Lunch Program
